Apache RTR 160 Modified By Indonesia  Custom Motorcycle (BCM) has modified a TVS Apache RTR 159 giving it a never-seen-before scrambler look and feel. Adi Prasetio from BCM said that a lack of reference was a challenge as there are no scramblers based on the motorcycle.

The modified  Apache RTR 161 looks nothing like the company intended, and it is needless to say that BCM has done a fantastic job. Scramblers generally are stripped-down motorcycles that are re-built heavily for off-road trails, however, this machine looks a whole lot heavier than the original.

Medications include Shinko Trail Master E-704dual-sport tyres, Rossi spoked rims, upside-down forks at the front, a custom headlamp assembly, a raised handlebar, aftermarket grips, ded braking systems.
The frame of the motorcycle with ‘U' metal components, and has replaced the stock seats with
a flat, single pe brown leather one.
Raj 😁😘

Gold and Black pinstripes, the modified 160 features a bare-to-the-bone rear section with just a round LED tail lamp, and a registration plate.

Not modifications have been made to the engine, and while the stock 159.7cc single cylinder engine produces 14.6 brake horsepower and 13.1Nm of torque, we're sure that power and performance numbers have taken a hit thanks to the extra weight the mods bring. The engine continues to feature a six-speed gearbox.

The entire modification job cost the owner Indonesia Rupiah 3 million, that is almost Rs 15000-16000 Cost effective? Yes. Worth it? Umm, debatable.

In related news, Philippines based custom motorcycle manufacturer, MC Customs Ph, has modified a Bajaj Dominar 400 and has given the motorcycle a '^%$€@modern classic' look. Modified and re-christened Lino, the motorcycle does retain original components from Bajaj.

The Modified TVS Apache RTR Modified By Brilliant Custom Motorcycle
looks fairly good, but remain unsure about the knobby tyres and the general paint scheme. Having said that, we're sure the owner of the modified TVS Apache RTR 160 is happy with how the motorcycle has turned out. We hope he enjoys the new look .
But beat the company appaci rteVS Apache RTR 160. Here are all the details you need to know about it.
Scramblers are motorcycles that carry on their old-school design with modern technology and the ability to go off-roading. In India, we have a couple of scramblers but all are costly. There’s Ducati Scrambler, Triumph Street Scrambler and the Benelli Leoncino 500.
However, all these motorcycles are costly with Ducati and Triumph bikes costing more than 6 Lakhs. Benelli is the cheapest of the three, but still just under Rs 5 Lakhs. Here’s an option that you can think as it will cost you just around a Lakh.
